Atom Asus PC 901 to be Released

We have gone through (already) the Eee PC 700 and the Eee 900. Eee lines are going to be created for desktops and monitors. Asus isn’t fooling around, are they?

The new Eee PC 901 is the new 900 version. It’s still an 8.9 inch cheap laptop which will be released on June 3rd and sold for less than $650. The new Asus will have an Atom Intel chipset (cool, right?), Bluetooth, and some metal parts added to the keyboard, hinge and to the border of the touchpad. Furthermore, Linux operated 901 will have more applications added to them.

One more important change is the brand name. Asus puts their fate in the Eee and its future so the 901 will feature an Eee logo instead of the Asusteck logo.
What do you think? I’d still go for the HP 2133 Mini-Note but that’s just me!
